Thickness & Panel Specifications

FELTBAY Acoustic Panels are available from 3mm to 24mm in a range of thicknesses to suit different acoustic and structural requirements. Each is engineered with a different density (1200–3000 g/m²). All panels are manufactured from 100% polyester fibre with ≥80% recycled PET content and require no edging or capping for a clean, seamless installation.

Acoustic Performance

Sound absorption (NRC) ranges from 0.30 to 0.80 depending on thickness when direct-fixed, rising to as high as 0.95 with a 50mm air cavity and insulation behind the panel. All results are tested to EN ISO 354 in a certified reverberation room, not estimated.

Fire & Safety

FELTBAY panels are tested to ASTM E84 (Class A) and EN 13501-1, with the majority of the colour range achieving B-s1,d0, limited flame spread, very low smoke emission, no flaming droplets, and self-extinguishing behaviour once the ignition source is removed. Fire performance is standard across the range, not a premium upgrade.

Certifications & Durability

FELTBAY panels are built for demanding, high-traffic interiors: independently tested for impact resistance, moisture performance, and colour fastness under both light exposure and rubbing. Material sourcing and manufacturing processes are assessed against recognised international sustainability and material-safety frameworks.
